Order & Delivery Information
ORDERS:
You are able to place an order with us in 4 main ways:
- Email your order directly to us via our contact form
- Fax your order through to 01562 825069
- Order on-line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on our this fully secure website
- Telephone Furniture Trends directly on 01562 66633. We are able to receive calls between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Orders taken over the weekend will be processed the following Monday.
PAYMENT:
- We accept all major credit and debit cards excluding American Express.
- Cheques are accepted allowing 5 working days for clearance and should be made payable to “Furniture Trends”. Full details of where to send your cheque will be shown at checkout. However, it must be stressed that an order taken with a deposit paid by cheque will not be processed until payment has cleared via our bank.
- A 30% deposit is payable when you order. The balance is due approximately 7-10 days before delivery.
- We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Goods are always subject to availability, since stock figures and estimated leadtimes are potentially liable to change at anytime. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, or the leadtimes change significantly, we will endeavour to inform you as soon as is humanly possible.
- All prices include VAT (where applicable) at current rate but exclude UK delivery charges, unless otherwise stated.
- When an order has been placed that totals £500.00 or over, delivery to anywhere in the UK will be free as a result.
- A signature of an adult aged 18 or over will be required on all deliveries.
- All furniture deliveries are outsourced and should be a 2 man service where needed. Costs are partly subsidised by Furniture Trends. We charge customers a delivery fee only to cover increasing transport costs charged to ourselves. We do not seek to make a profit on delivery charges, simply to cover costs billed to Furniture Trends.
- Large items are transported directly to your home in specially equipped furniture vans and are carried in by trained furniture delivery staff. These staff should then unpack the article, place as per your request and remove packaging afterwards. This is the service we believe is worth the extra cost since many retailers deliver to the door, leaving you to negotiate the rest.
- Generally, where an order contains more than one item, all items will be delivered at the same time once all are available (to deliver).
- Where a delivery date has been agreed with our carrier but the customer is not present to receive delivery, we reserve the right to charge the customer the cost of the failed delivery charged to us.
- We do not deliver on weekends or bank holidays.
- Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified in shipping and returns section and also when you place the order. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally out of our control due to unforeseen factors. Furniture Trends shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.
- Risk or loss and damage of product(s) passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of delivery first attempted by us.
